Todd Duncan Photography is proud to announce that we have been an integral player in the wedding photography industry for now over 12 years. We specialize in a photojournalistic eye when capturing the moments of a wedding, without compromising on the natural flow of the bride and groom’s special day.

Although we specialize in photographing weddings in the Vancouver lower mainland, we are also available for national and international locations and encourage the idea of having a destination wedding. In our opinion, destination weddings awesome because you get to celebrate your union at a unique location.

Todd is the chief photographer, with a background of photo journalism at Carleton University in the mid 1990’s. He currently still works as a fashion and headshot photographer in the off season testing for various local agencies.

"Who am I? I'm a lucky guy who gets to pursue some creative paths. Well maybe not that lucky, I have paid some dues. As a child, I always wanted to create visuals from scratch, but didn't know how to go about doing it. Journalism school wasn't the answer, as I was deemed to be not succinct enough at describing a scene and reporting it for a newspaper. My professors suggested I look into photography.

My parents gave me a Nikon 801 for my university graduation present, and I used it to virtually cover the entire continent of Australia in 1994, and never looked back ever since in regards to transforming the camera into a full time career."

I've always been a people-person throughout my life, and have married that into my photographic career where people have generally been the subjects of my lens, whether it be capturing Angus Young wailing on his Les Paul for a Vancouver daily, or shooting a candid image of a bride and groom in their ulimate bliss.

Whatever the job entails, my goal is to connect to my client with my level of energy, and photograph them in their most natural environment as best as possible."
